We have eaten Libby's lobster rolls for several years now and believe they are the best, freshest lobster rolls we have ever eaten. On our last trip Tina had said they were selling the store to someone, and traveling along the Atlantic Coast on their boat.

So my wife has a spreadsheet with rankings of the best lobster rolls across New England...this is now tied for #1. It was so good we went back the next day and got another footlong. They’ll make it with butter on the side, or with Mayo. Lettuce optional. Super friendly owner Jason, his wife, and 4 kids. A real family shop, off the beaten path but well worth a detour and stop. You won’t be disappointed in their lobster roll. (Coming from someone who has eaten them at over 40 places.) Also need to try the chicken salad during my next visit. Nice red wine selection too.

Excellent Lobster Rolls. The best I've had in Maine. Fresh lobster, perfectly buttered and toasted bun. The place looks unassuming, but they serve an awesome lobster roll.

Lobster roll is very good...just like Red's but the meat is cut up for better chewing...this place is a hidden gem. They have 3 size options and overall cost is similar to their competitors. They also have regular convenience store stuffs.

Very nice lobster roll on a butter-toasted bun. Super friendly staff, and a better wine selection (both in variety and quality) than any supermarket in the area (if you can't get to a wine/beer specific store, that is). Limited seating, but anyone you sit next to will be friendly and happy to chat.

A great place to have a lobster roll and drink a Moxie. Libby's looks like a typical roadside convenience store but there is much more than meets the eye. In the backyard they have pot of fresh lobsters boiling for the next round of lobster rolls. These rolls are some of the best you can get in Maine, especially if you like them cold.

The best lobster rolls!!! And they were nice enough to pack up some lobster and a roll separately so I could take a lobster roll on the road for a lunch stop! They get their lobsters fresh every morning at 4am!

Lobster rolls are pricey but worth it. The folks who work there are very nice as well.

This place is awesome! We were treated so nice here. Tina, the owner, gave us tips on places to visit. She was very sincere and endearing. She knew all the patrons by name and you could tell that her & staff really love their jobs. Now about the food.... OMG! The lobster roll & crab roll are out of this world. My son had the pizza and liked it so much that he asked them to sign the box top...to save as a souvenir. Yes... it was that great! If you are in Maine, you have to stop at Libby's Market.

Incredible (and cheap!) Lobster rolls inside a convenience store. Libby's has no atmosphere but its Lobster rolls are a great bargain for lunch. NOTE: Closed for renovations Jan&Feb 2017!

Everyone is friendly, the food is amazing. Looking at the store, you wouldn't think it has some of the best lobster rolls around, but it does. Fun Fact: You can get lobster (whole or in rolls) shipped fresh wherever you want!

Yankee Magazine didn't search enough when they posted the Best Lobster Rolls !! They obviously did not go to Libby's Market in Brunswick, Me. O M G what a GREAT SURPRISE !! Don't let the " MARKET" facade deter you. They have an 8" and a 12" roll packed with fresh picked lobster. We will go back everytime we are close, rest assured !! Do yourself a favor. Go to Libby's Market and see for yourself !! You'll be SO HAPPY !! :-)

Get the large lobster roll, it was excellent and alot of meat. The people inside were nice too!!

Smelled like grease AS soon as you enter.Big sign says Coffee station inside...only no coffee.What a letdown
